So apparently, something lit a fire under Matt's butt last weekend, and he decided that we needed to make some home improvements. So, off we headed to Lowe's (actually, probably about 5 times last weekend...) and we ended up re-planting some plants between the railroad ties in our front yard (because the others that were there were either dying, or just not big enough), planted grapes in some big whiskey barrels with a lattice that they can grow up, installed a ceiling fan on the back porch, and hung curtains over the back sliding glass door...WHEW!! It was a busy weekend! The curtains over the doors were long overdue. The afternoon sun coming through them while trying to watch TV or eat dinner was just unbearable. Here are a couple pictures of our little improvements, though...

The ceiling fan Matt installed on the porch. If you look very far to the right in this picture, you can see that another barrel was added to the back corner with some sunflowers :)
